ISLAMABAD: Leader of the opposition in the National Assembly, Syed Khursheed Shah Wednesday said that Bangladesh fell from grace by slapping a ban on flying of other countries’ flags (in its cricket stadiums).
“Bangladesh should exhibit a sportsman spirit,” Shah asserted while talking to media men here.
On Kashmir issue, he regretted that although the US had been invited to act as an arbitrator, it had failed to play a pragmatic role in this regard.
Commenting on government’s persistent claim of receiving 1.5 billion dollars from a ‘friendly country’ as a gift, he wondered if it was a gift then what made Nawaz Sharif to say that he had to come up with a personal guarantee in that connection. “It is incomprehensible,” he added.
