LAHORE: Information Minister Pervez Rashid said on Wednesday that there should be no ban on waving flags during sports events, a reference to a recent restriction imposed by Bangladeshi cricket board on local cricket fans.
Replying a query, he said that the government was making progress on daily basis with regard to talks with the Taliban.
He said that the government committee was present in North Waziristan with full mandate.
He also rejected reports and speculations about Pakistan’s meddling in the affairs of other countries. Rashid said that those making these claims were vilifying Pakistan.
